Let us go into detail about magical words that can make your résumé stand out from all other applicants. Remember the idea is to get to the interview with an error-free, keyword filtered résumé.

I found an example of a job posting for a Trainer in a Customer Service department. Start by looking at words that match your job experience. Facilitator, coach, and supervisor are words that stand out several times through out the job advertisement. Along with those headings are the keywords to specific job functions that should be filtered in your resume. Put the job requirements and your experience into two columns. Start comparing your experiences with what they are looking for in a candidate. Infuse their keywords in your résumé by citing concrete examples from your job experience.

Company Requirements

Your Experience

Faciliated
the monthly product knowledge training, market launching of new scientific instrumentation, and new on-line ordering service to 50 customer service representatives using Power Point presentations.

Take escalated calls, approve adjustments and monitor CSR's for quality.

Once you have infused the keywords into your résumé, check it for punctuation, grammar, and overall organization. Use these same key words in your cover letter that will compliment your résumé.
